Introducing the latest enhancements to project44's electronic bill of lading (eBOL) capabilities ✨ Historically, shippers, carriers, and logistics service providers (LSPs) relied on paper bills of lading—leading to errors and delays. Our enhanced eBOL capabilities transform this process, enabling accurate data exchange, decreasing delays, and automating billing processes. project44's National Motor Freight Traffic Association, Inc.-compliant API is integrated with 100% of carriers with eBOL. And to make adoption easier for customers, project44 has converted a historical API call for dispatch only into the new eBOL format, bringing customers the immediate benefit without having to upgrade APIs. This offers massive savings over time, with an estimated $3-8 savings per eBOL across more than 18,000 eBOLs sent to carriers per day 💰 In response to these new enhancements, Executive Director of the Digital LTL Council at NMFTA Paul Dugent remarks, "project44 has been instrumental in digitizing the LTL shipment lifecycle, helping to drive efficiency, accuracy, and operational excellence for the entire LTL ecosystem." Who's up for a field trip? 🚍 A few members of our East Coast crew had the privilege of visiting the newly reopened Port of Baltimore last week for an exclusive tour of their terminals. President of Ports America Chesapeake Mark Schmidt gave us a behind the scenes look into their operations—showcasing their cutting-edge vessel planning software and data tracking tools. We gained valuable insights into the container flow, ocean carriers’ requests, and how mutual data sharing could help boost ETAs and appointment window management. A major highlight was watching a berthed Maersk vessel being loaded, a testament to the efficiency and coordination at the port. Thank you to the Ports America team for hosting us! Understanding ports, carriers, and LSPs helps us deliver more value to our customers, so we're looking forward to leveraging these takeaways for even greater SupplyChain efficiency 💪

With a global workforce spread across over 35 countries, we’re always looking for ways to bring our team closer together 🌎 That's why we're proud to offer passport44—a global exchange program that allows selected p44 team members to work from any of our global offices for up to two weeks, supported by a travel stipend. This program gives participants the chance to experience new cultures, build international relationships, and bring fresh ideas back to their home offices. Customer Success Manager Akira Zhang recently participated in this program—traveling from her home in China to spend two weeks visiting our Amsterdam office. "Often, offline interactions don’t allow for enough time to truly connect. But during these face-to-face exchanges with colleagues from various departments, I felt I had more chances to do real talk." - Akira One of her key takeaways from this experience was realizing how connected she felt with colleagues, even from across the globe. This inspired her to share more insights about the Chinese market, fostering a truly global perspective within our team. Thanks for sharing your journey with us, Akira! Keep an eye out for even more passport44 adventures ✈️
When in Barcelona... 💃 It's safe to say that the Gartner Supply Chain Symposium/Xpo last week was a major hit! We kicked off the event festivities with a standout networking dinner with Google Cloud—featuring lively music and an enchanting performance by local flamenco dancers. Over the course of the three-day event, the project44 expo booth was a hub of activity. Between snapping pics at our branded photo booth, crafting their own custom fragrances with an on-site perfumer, networking with peers, and learning about our HighVelocity solutions, visitors had no shortage of things to do. We also had a great turnout for our two sessions with Google's Samrah Khan and Alcon's Curt Metzler. Thanks to our speakers and those who joined us to learn about the future of real-time visibility and Supply Chain management. So long, GartnerSC! We can't wait for the next one
Meet our pint-sized pioneers! 👋 A few of our global offices celebrated Children's Day last week—welcoming the next generation to experience a day at project44. The Krakow office was filled with young minds who explored the world of logistics with an interactive demo of our HighVelocity supply chain platform, Movement. Afterward, the fun kicked into high gear with face painting, giant soap bubbles, and colorful kite flying 🪁 Meanwhile in Chennai, the next generation of techies and entrepreneurs took over our conference room. The kiddos enjoyed delicious snacks and a lively game of Tambola, capping off their summer break with loads of entertainment before heading back to school. If Children's Day showed us anything, the future is in great hands! Thanks to everyone, young and old, who joined us 🌟
