Pros
Interview and conversation with the hiring manager was an easy process.
Cons
Primary language (60%) spoken is Hindi, 40% English and most of the updates are shared in Hindi. primary teaching language is Hindi, and if you learn Hindi then the primary language spoke will change to Gujarati. I approached my manager and said I'm an English speaker and may I have a different trainer - his response, "you'd better learn Hindi" and he was dead serious.
BMS has a new CEO and is drastically cutting employees in both management and departmental. I saw entire departments get wiped with no notice to active staff. On a site with 16+ buildings half were empty. Naturally most FTE's are unmotivated and fear for there jobs. The talent is leaving, systems are not maintained and do not function as designed. Training systems can be down for months. Computer networking is a joke and commands that should take seconds take hours. Software not designed to work with such extensive latency in the network breaks down and things have to be done (ad hoc - latin for as is) and this process of manual data entry takes hours. In my department a 'Live' electrical outlet fell off the wall. it was reported to maintainence and after 3 months it was not fixed in an area 1 foot away from people working. OSHA would have a field day.
