The team I worked with were lovely and I really enjoyed learning all about coffee
Cons
Had 6 different store managers in the 2 years that I worked there as they kept moving people around the area. Only 2 of the managers were actually good at the job.
Good team spirit overall, the team is really great!
Cons
Very low pay, very abusive when it comes to using your own resources (car etc etc). 300% turnover of employees. That means a position is filled yearly by 3 different people. Lots of resignations
Supportive team culture and great training.
Opportunities for growth and promotion.
Fast-paced environment that builds resilience.
Customer interaction is a daily highlight.
Developed strong leadership and multitasking skills.
Cons
Long hours, especially during peak times.
Work-life balance can be difficult.
Can be stressful when short-staffed.
Sometimes limited flexibility with shifts.
Pay could be more competitive.
-you get good knowledge of coffee culture
-employee progression
-can work well in a good team but can vary
Cons
-management isn't the best
-20 minute breaks after an 8hr+ shift should be illegal. Caffe Nero is inhumane for allowing this. We are humans not robots just trying to provide good customer service.
