Pros
I get paid and can be a seasonal worker because I'm a student
Cons
Treated like children
Don't get hours
When I was full-time time I was sent home early instead of part-time workers
Not allowed to get tips, so the managers take them
Expected to work extremely short-staffed bc the location doesn't make enough money
Food is only good if you are an employee, and if you aren't, it's pretty bad
Coworkers don't know the menu and regularly ring orders in wrong and overcharge customers, leading to lots of complaints
Corporate rep can be very hostile to employees trying to have a good shift
Overall, if you're a young adult, I wouldn't recommend working here because you're not going to get treated like an adult. You get treated more like high schoolers and are expected to do more than your job responsibilities. I had to train several staff members while only having worked for a few weeks. I also opened and operated my whole department by myself for extended periods as well as assisting other departments open and operate. I know labor has to be below a certain level, but there should still be enough staff to properly function without overburdening certain staff members. There are also regularly times that certain cleaning tasks simply don't get done because you don't have enough hands to do them.
