The last few years have been challenging for many tech startups, including ours. As part of adapting, we made the tough decision to remove the 4-day workweek to meet business and operational needs. Employees were given the option to voluntarily depart with severance when this change was implemented, while we continued investing in flexible, remote work. Although tracking software is never popular, we communicated its purpose clearly—to address concerns like quiet quitting in a fully remote environment. We understand that change can be difficult, and we acknowledge the concerns that come with it.
We’re also concerned to hear about issues raised regarding HR and leadership support. Ensuring employees feel respected and valued remains a priority, and we are committed to fostering a transparent, inclusive, and supportive environment.
