Flex schedule, able to listen to music and audio books, work from home flex schedule, benefits are great, human interaction if wanted

Not full work from home, when changing or adding to people’s pay due to compression or cost of living changes they take forever to even attempt

It's a great place to start, it has many opportunity to develop yourself. If you want to work in the insurance world, it can be great for your career. Everyone i have met is kind and helpful.

Company follows a direction that is opposite of all other companies in the world. 1- While the whole world is switching to unlimited PTO, HCSC is reducing it even more. Although it is the company that gives the least time off to its employees among big companies, this year they suddenly reduced it by 2 more days and banned transferring the off days to the next year. I have never heard of something like this before in my life. 2- While all companies are rapidly working on options where their employees can work from home, HCSC forces its employees to go to the office. 3- There is not much opportunity for you to use new technologies. All the software you will use will be old versions from at least 2 years ago. This is not a big problem for those who have been working there for a long time, but it will be a surprise for newcomers.

Very flexible schedule with ability to work from home if your performance meets the standard.

Software is out of date and not efficient. Those in charge of training new techs still have questions as well so you don’t always get proper training and/or the correct answer. The software that instructs you how to work a claim does not always make sense which makes it harder to meet productivity standards.

HCSC has amazing growth potential! I've been a Provider Services CA less than 1 year. I cant honestly not think of a single bad thing to say. I'm on a flex schedule, so I work from home 2 weeks and the office 1 week. I have a supervisor who goes to great lengths to ensure we have the proper tools to successfully do our job.

It takes a long time to go fully work from home.
