My team was genuinely so smart and kind, and working alongside them was one of the highlights of my time here. MNTN meets were well organized and fun. Benefits package is competitive (though salary is not). Good work life balance. Very family oriented.

Career growth here has very little to do with the quality of your work and is driven almost entirely by politics: who you’re aligned with, how well you manage up, and whether you’re in the right social circle. Different perspectives are routinely dismissed, even when they come from the person with the most relevant domain expertise. Leaders with big egos have cultivated a culture where agreement is rewarded and constructive feedback is not. Strategy shifts are constant and poorly communicated, creating lots of thrash and leaving teams perpetually reactive instead of focused. No raises unless you’re promoted which they also don’t do often.

Having been with MNTN for a considerable duration, I've observed significant changes over the years and have been privy to much of the behind-the-scenes dynamics. Here's a summary of my overall experience: - I've experienced excellent career and salary growth. - Enjoyed substantial autonomy and trust in executing tasks in my preferred manner. - Opportunities to acquire and implement a wide array of new technologies. - Worked alongside remarkable individuals who have been supportive colleagues, mentors, and close friends. - Enjoyed a healthy work/life balance. - Engaged in fantastic company events facilitating remote socialization. - Our VP of Engineering demonstrates exceptional competence in his role. - Witnessed a steady expansion of the engineering organization, with well over 100 team members now. Conclusion: While acknowledging imperfections, I find MNTN to be the best company I've worked for thus far. Barring significant cultural shifts, I foresee myself continuing to work here.

Everyone is super supportive and friendly, making it a joy to come to work every day. The teamwork and camaraderie are top-notch. Fun Offsites: The offsite events are a blast! They pick amazing locations, and it’s seriously so much fun. I leave every trip with a huge smile on my face. Cool Culture: The company culture is awesome. It's all about innovation, creativity, and personal growth. Plus, they really emphasize work-life balance, which is refreshing. Good Pay: The pay here is really competitive and it shows.
