Lack of colleagues/social events if you are not part of Aiia/Betalingsservice, since the European Mastercard team is very small in Denmark

The work could be better. They are still using old software and the approval process takes a lot of time.

Good benefits and pay, generally decent culture. Many people took the "decency" mantra seriously. DEI was also taken quite seriously.

Fast-paced, expectation is to be able to join calls/ virtual meetings at all times.

Huge lack of progression and training. Asked to use training budget to go to an in-person course, and was met with ‘we provide online courses’. All the while, other teams are going on endless courses. Every 2 years is a purge of employees so no feeling of security. Better the company does, the more they get rid of. In office 3 days a week which is fine, but no effort to collaborate in-person. All meetings are over Teams. Not a single meeting where you talk face to face. Many people complain about this. No team building at all. Only time you meet people is the Christmas party.
