Does Nutanix offer a yearly bonus?

It used to be a great place to work

      Pros

A lot of my colleagues, past and present, have really been team players. Demand is increasing from end users. Healthcare Packages are great.

      Cons

Work-Life Balance has significantly decreased through the years.CEO cares very little about us lowly grunt workers. We are tricked and lied to constantly now. They changed the bonus payout without us knowing yet still holding out fiscal goals above our heads. YET even if you meet/exceed them, they now punish you in your annual bonus if EVERYONE did not meet minimum goals throughout the company. So basically we are underpaid already but, surprise, lose portions of our bonus because the C-Suite didn’t get every department to meet “goals”. Now they are forcing people who never worked in an office to go to an office where you get a “first come first serve” desk and no bump in salary. A lot of people didn’t get a raise in the first time in a decade yet the CEO got a nice $52M incentive pay( you can google it). This newish CEO and his board no longer care about the people who truly carry the company. There’s no respect and no incentive to work here anymore and I expect after the last few poor decisions made, there will be a mass exodus of all of the great talent that made Nutanix what it is today. I honestly wouldn’t waste your time trying to get a job here. It used to be an amazing company with amazing values and amazing support and appreciation, but it’s no longer that company.

      Pros

      Hybrid work, flexible, great people!

      Cons

This company always raves about providing a great employee experience yet they never deliver. They have zero development opportunities and have not given a salary increase or any incentive to keep working for Nutanix for a few consecutive years. This is a slap in the face for those who go above and beyond and keep this company going. Moreover they are taking away benefits one by one resulting in further losses to employees. How exactly are you trying to retain your talent and motivate your employees? Or is it you just couldn’t care less? As the review below mentions this company WILL take advantage of you. They will lure you in with a great salary and benefits then cut you short year after year. I would not recommend anyone to join Nutanix.

We're sorry that your experience has fallen short. Have you discussed your concerns with your manager? We encourage you to be proactive in doing so. In terms of compensation, we understand this is important to you. We do our best to offer competitive pay and benefits for all our employees. Our approach to compensation includes annual benchmarking to ensure we’re competitive, differentiation based on performance, and being fiscally responsible to help us towards our company goals. Beyond compensation, we offer a range of benefits to support employees in other ways too, such as Wellbeing Days, Volunteer Time Off, donation matching, equity and incentive plans, a robust employee group community, and more. We encourage you to actively share feedback in our employee surveys and to talk with your manager or People Business Partner if you’d like to discuss more.

      Pros

Many nice colleagues and interesting technology

      Cons

Too many Execs and senior managers without sufficient experience or character. They cover up the inability to hit sales targets by doing massive cost cutting and layoffs at least 2x year, no one is safe, not even top performers. Their "values and culture" is all window dressing. Most execs lack empathy, bully and bury their people in last minute, urgent work, and do unethical things but HR protects them. Raises and promotions are sparse - except for the "in crowd" who mostly out of their depth, and the CEO who made 200% of his cost cutting taget and got a $50M retention deal last year (after most staff didn't get a raise).
