What is the hiring process like at Sodexo?

The hiring process is was easy

My direct manager was not the best…

They had an easy hiring process

Promised the opportunity to interview for promotions, but did not follow through on promises

Literally no pros, the worst recruitment, training, and support I've ever experienced and they pay you wrong every single time. Steal money from your pay for dirty accommodation. Your support manager are either hungover coked up or just plane rude.

Everything the recruitment process was a shambles, set up days a complete mess, blatant lies told to you during the process. They don't pay proper milage and expect you to travel hundreds of miles and still don't pay you properly.

The only real pro is that the people they hire are nice, in a "fake nice/i'll gaslight you" type of way.

The training for this job was a joke, it was entirely theoretical, they did no actual practical training (this is NOT legal in hospitality, by the way), and they even made a whole big deal about 'this is where you're working and these are the people you'll work with,' only to introduce me to everyone EXCEPT the people I ended up working with. And now you know why I quit my first day there, because they did not prepare me AT ALL for the work, despite having ample time to do so. I will also now use this time to question their hiring process, as most of the people who were hired alongside me were maladjusted, rude, unacclimated, or barely even spoke English. I was working with people and questioning, 'did they even interview this guy? His attitude is horrible.' I know for a fact all the mandatory training I had to do and all the HOURS of knowledge about safety protocols are from Sodexo, and I can say without a second thought, it's a horrible and inefficient business model and terrible way to manage a business in this industry.

I was really surprised that nothing about this position stood out

The whole process was disingenuous

Friendly co workers and simple interview process

Low pay and poor training

Part-time. Easy to learn. Easy application and interview process.

Repetitive. Not much room to grow. Terrible pay.

Other than the benefits, none that I can think of

Everything…no training, lack of new hire preparation, lack of leadership, etc.

I wouldnt say there were any. Just alot of HR issues brushed under the rug.

Too many to list. Too much hiring of friends and not qualified people. HR only targets certain people and there is no support from about. Expected to work 14+ hours a day for the same bad paycheck and they make up write ups if you dont so they can fire you.
