What is the salary like at Spirit Halloween?

You are a general manager of all 3-5 stores, you are salary while your managers are hourly and cannot work overtime. You have zero work life balance. Mileage is under the IRS standard rate at $.48 a mile and they subtract 20 miles each day for “normal commute”. You have to organize the set up and tear down with little outside help. Those days are 12-16 hours in all conditions. They dangle a bonus of up to 7x your weekly wages ($1025) so 7125 max but they take over half out in taxes. A colleague of mine was fired because corperate watch her leave early on the camera systems to go to another store and they assumed she just wasn’t working. Work conditions consist of abandoned building without ac or heat, black mold and constantly told to lie to fire and building codes officers to open stores on time.

The managers were fully aware it was my first job, did not train anyone, were condescending when I asked for help finding things on my third day, Ignored every text message and call I sent, didn't give me any hours for two weeks before firing me because I didn't "seem like a good fit" at my first job, despite it being a beginner level job, and having been told ahead of time I had no prior experience. Long hours even for part time, put every other employee in an important groupchat and didn't put me in it, acted somewhat childish sometimes and talked to the other employees about me behind my back. It felt at times like they had something specifically against me, since no other co worker experienced it.

Fun Job, fast pace, bonus

Horrible upper management rude guests and poor pay for the job

Some long days in the beginning, but once you establish a system with the employees the season ends in the blink of an eye.
