      Pros

I recently joined WeWork India and my first day has been a very positive experience. The onboarding process was smooth, well-organized, and thoughtfully planned, which made settling in much easier. The team was incredibly welcoming and supportive from the moment I walked in. There’s a strong sense of community and collaboration, and you can immediately feel the positive work culture. The workspace itself is vibrant, well-maintained, and designed to encourage productivity and creativity. Although it’s just my first day, I already feel excited about the journey ahead and the opportunity to learn and grow here. Pros: Friendly and welcoming team Smooth onboarding process Great work environment and infrastructure

      Cons

Too early to comment right now

      Pros

Fun and moves fast. Lots of new projects and lots of bright colleagues.

      Cons

May be too fast moving for some. Nothing stays the same for long and new processes are always being tried out.

      Layoffs all the time

      Pros

Laid off after 3 months not much pros besides my team was super great

      Cons

Laid off after 3 months.. with pretty much no warning. I asked during the interview process about layoffs and they were very candid about needing this role. I would stay away, my entire team 6 months later has mostly been let go now.

      A good "Transition" Job.

      Pros

Great PTO Great Insurance I have had a good experience with most of my CoWorkers. Great work life balance

      Cons

Director and Executive level leadership doesn't really understand the ground level work. The pay is pretty mediocre. When I started the hiring rates were changing a lot. There are other people in my position that make $10k more per year and do less.

There are no cons that I have personally experienced!

      Pros

At a city level, WeWork is an incredible place to work. I've had multiple roles on various teams over five years and I've always had great respect for the people I work with. Work life balance is great and it's still a fun work environment, even through the publicity and profitability challenges of the last five years. I've never had a job I enjoy more in terms of my direct colleagues and the work I'm doing.

      Cons

However, in five years I've been laid off twice (and rehired in other roles) through various reorganizations. While I appreciate that my colleagues have swiftly recognized my value and swooped me back up it feels as though I could easily be placed in a new position instead of dealing with layoffs over and over again. At the same time, despite only being unemployed by WeWork for a total of 3 weeks HR still refuses to recognize my five year anniversary with the company. Despite multiple meetings between HR, my director and myself it's "not possible" to give me the official recognition for the time I've spent here given the gap of less than 1 month. This feels like such a simple fix, and a way that WeWork could deliver on one of its "values" of "Do The Right Thing." Over the last year WeWork has removed their 401k matching and stopped paying our health insurance premiums (with no change to salaries to offset). It feels like honoring my five year anniversary is a simple thing to do given all of these negative changes, but it goes to show that the corporate and on-the-ground experience aren't necessarily the same. (Note: my paid time off and potential severance packages are different based on my start date, so beyond simple recognition for my time my benefits are also affected)

      Pros

Loved the combination of sales, operations, and hospitality required for this role. Truly became an extension of all of the member companies. Teams were lean but you had authority to find gaps and create new processes for success.

      Cons

Tight timelines for ramp up of opening new locations. Pulled in a lot of directions throughout the day, super fast paced environment.

      Pros

WeWork does a great job hiring employees managerial level and under— great group of likeminded individuals. Plus, we use Slack which makes the atmosphere of cross-functional work all the better.

      Cons

Director, VP-level, and C-Level employees suck. Plus, none of them care about personal or professional growth, and you are just a number in the system and super, super replaceable— they will not fight for you— pre- & post-bankrupty.
