Pretty straight forward, it was telephone, then in person, just need to know the foundation and techniques they used. The you get a tour of the lab building that shows where you will be working when accepted.

The interview process was very quick and to the point. Remote interview that took 30 min. After that it was about a week before I heard back then another week getting all of the pre-employment tasks done.

Online application in early April and got the first virtual interview inviation from Hiring Manager in late April, several days later got the onsite interview inviation. Didn't get the offer because I am over qualified, this was mentioned at the last question.
