A HR representative conducted a short phone interview to screen me - asked me to describe myself and my career to date, my goals, and what I was looking for. I then had two interviews, both in-person. One with the hiring manager and then one with the hiring manager and a more senior executive. Questions were standard scenario-based answers, as well as some that focuses broadly on the organization and its role.

Question 1
Tell us about your understanding of APEGA's role and it's mandate?
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at APEGA in Feb 2025
Interview
They wasted more than 3 months. First pre-screening then lengthy write ups followed up by 2 rounds of interviews and again 18 questions referral from all previous supervisors (yes, you read that right)
I applied online. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at APEGA
Interview
I applied online on the website. I received the pre-screening questions after a week about the job and some previous experience questions and salary expectations. Then I got an interview request after a week from that which was technical round for an hour with hiring manager and HR manager where background was discussed, job discussion and also many behaviour questions. I was notified that there will be a second round if I am selected. Then I had an informal round after 2 weeks where I was called in the office for meeting the director and get to know me more personality wise if I am the right fit in the team and they took me out for lunch which also gave me a chance to see the workplace I will be working and how is the team. I loved that approach for an in person round. References are checked before this round and then I had my background check finished. After a week I was offered the position.
