I applied online. I interviewed at Acasus (London, England) in Apr 2026
Interview
An assessment evaluating behavioral adaptability and data-driven problem-solving. It tests your ability to analyze health or education data, navigate field-based scenarios, and design actionable solutions for government partners in Mozambique.

Question 1
Tell me about a time when you were working on a project and a key stakeholder or partner refused to implement your recommendation or use the data you provided. How did you handle that resistance, and what was the outcome?
Straightforward interview process. The first couple of interviews are geared towards testing your motivation and how you think through problems (essentially evaluating your critical thinking skills). While they can feel tough and interviewers tend to push back, I believe they reward candidates who appear humble and coachable - willing to accept when they're wrong while also willing to take a stand for what they believe is right.

Off cycle hire
5 interviews.
HR interview -> 1st case -> 2nd case -> 3rd case -> Call with head of people (now left the company)
Cases are never too hard. Much easier than quite a few practice cases I did from casebooks. Some of the interviewers did invent tricky questions.
