      Interview

Interviewer Interaction: The interviewers were not only professional but also well-mannered, demonstrating genuine interest throughout. They created a comfortable environment, allowing for a more natural exchange. Immediate feedback after each round further added to the positive experience. Technical Assessments: Round 1 included some technical questions, ensuring that candidates possess the necessary knowledge for the role. Communication and Feedback: Communication was clear and constant, maintaining a seamless connection between Adobe and myself. Constructive feedback was consistently provided after each round, facilitating continuous improvement. Process Duration: The interview process was lengthy, spanning six rounds over two to three weeks. While the depth of assessment was appreciated, the extended duration might be a consideration for future candidates. Virtual Format: All of my rounds were conducted virtually, each lasting one hour. This may change for some candidates as I have seen some interviews happening in the office as well. Cultural Fit: The interview process allowed for a thorough understanding of the company's culture, values, and expectations. This alignment is crucial for a successful partnership.

Interview Structure: - Round 1 (Intro Round): Focused on evaluating communication skills, understanding of the sales life cycle, and knowledge of Adobe. - Round 2 (Mock Call Round): Conducted by a different team, this round involved a simulated sales call scenario. Parameters for evaluation included call structure, building trust, probing for customer needs, and closing with a clear next action item. - Round 3 (Sales Manager): Explored key takeaways from previous rounds, questioned about growth motivations, and delved into selling approaches for different personas. Included unconventional questions like explaining colors to a blind friend and presenting Adobe as an employer. - Round 4 (Discussion Round): Focused on key takeaways from the previous three rounds, with questions about the candidate, the importance of communication between SDRs and AEs, and differences between Adobe and previous employers in mid-market and enterprise sectors. - Round 5 (Hiring Manager): Included two mock sales calls. - Round 6 (Final Round - Director of Sales): Focused on discussing the job role, emphasizing storytelling.

      Interview

Met someone at my school's career fair, got invited for an interview on-campus, then invited back for a 2-day event at their headquarters where I learned about the sales academy, had the chance to network with managers, and had a formal interview. Very nice people, competitive environment.
