I applied through a recruiter. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Aegaea (Glasgow, Scotland) in Mar 2024
Interview
Very straightforward, didn't waste any time, which I appreciate! The process took 2 interviews and an additional one which was more of a presentation on what type of projects are currently in the horizon for Aegaea, and an opportunity for me to ask anything which came to my mind.

Question 1
Policy knowledge, previous experience in hydraulic modelling.
I applied online. The process took 3 weeks. I interviewed at Aegaea (London, England) in Oct 2024
Interview
The first stage was a quick phone call to talk about my experience, the role, and the company. It was very friendly and more exploratory than a traditional interview, which was a great introduction to the company and process.
Within a few days, I received an invite for the second stage, a video call with a Director that included a presentation. I had about a week to prepare, and they were very flexible with their availability.
The interview itself was thorough, but never felt like any questions were irrelevant or unnecessary. The questions were open-ended and conversational, so it didn’t feel like a box-ticking Q&A, and I genuinely felt the interviewer was interested in my answers. There is a strong focus not only on experience and ability to perform the role, but also on soft skills and cultural fit.
I heard back with a decision within a week of the second interview. Overall, the process was friendly, professional, and very transparent.

Question 1
Give an overview of your experience so far and why you've chosen to apply for this role.
I applied online. I interviewed at Aegaea in Mar 2025
Interview
There were 2 interviews. I interviewed 3 months, told I'd be get a response in 2 weeks, still haven't heard back. They had to reschedule both interviews twice each on the day of the original interview dates. Even then, the interviewers turned up 15 mins late. They also gave me a task to do at the end of the work day at 4:45pm and due for the next morning 10am which gave me hardly any time to work on. At the interview, they asked the usual questions but also some very unusual non standard questions that weren't related to the job or my experience.
