Initial phone screening, which I passed, followed by an onerous sounding 8 hour on site interview that was scheduled ten days later for some reason.
The interview itself was two 3 hour barrages of questions unhelpfully phrased like "please tell us a time that you excelled at X (ie customer satisfaction, problem solving, "courage" (for some reason), followed by a second part where we had to describe how we failed at it.
The six hour process seems heavily weighted to whoever can fabricate or recite the most unverifiable monologues about workplace valor/failure and seemed actively hostile towards matching any of my extensive experience towards the the description of the role.
They (other employees, not the interviewers) took me to lunch in their car, which was nice but also strange.
I knew I'd be a bad fit when I initially saw how trashed the office was (ie why would a company represent themselves to a prospective employee like this?), and I could tell by about 20 minutes into the second session that neither of them were listening to me and that my answers no longer mattered. I was honestly expecting one of them to pretend to get a phone call and cut it short.
Email confirmed they passed on me, no feedback, by noon the next day.
