Definitely, a tough interviewer and clearly looking for something very specific. The interviewer seemed disinterested in me almost immediately as I began to answer my first question. Her body language was so bored she actually distracted me from what I was saying. Advice to the interviewer work on your first several questions to create some comfort so you'll get a better interview.

Most questions were about data and APIs. Didn't feel like they valued collaboration or customer experience mostly just looking for someone technical. Why not understand the problem from your user's perspective and work your way backward?

Applied online. Process took around six weeks. Recruitment team for this role is based in APAC, so communication is delayed if based in US. First, my interview with recruiter was late at night (EST), but quick. The following two interviews were spaced out over two weeks (there was very limited availability, and when you choose times on the calendar link they give you it does not automatically create a calendar invite. Someone from the recruitment team has to confirm, which takes another two days). Both interviews went well and were straightforward. Here’s where things became frustrating. It took THREE WEEKS to finally set up the next interview. Recruiter said they were waiting for feedback and hadn’t received it yet. Finally set up next call only to be ghosted. Turns out the interviewer never received a calendar invite. They apologized and sent over a new link for me to submit my availability, which is quickly filled out. More time goes by with no communication from team until I eventually receive a generic rejection email stating the role is no longer vacant. Completely unprofessional and disappointing experience.

I applied late November, and received an email asking to schedule a time to chat with Benya Kong. The times for the meeting were another time zone so I had to book my interview for 10pm Eastern Time (Times were set from 10pm Eastern - 5am Eastern). at 9:50pm Eastern Time I received an email requesting we reschedule. Shortly after I rescheduled, I received an email saying that the position had been filled. I followed up and received no response. I believe the company may use a third party or a bot to schedule these meetings. The whole process was weird and just came off unorganized an unprofessional. Also from what I gather about this position is that this is super common so maybe don't bother.
