Initial interview was a phone screening with the HR department. This went well; I was asked a few standard questions (professional background, employment history, etc.) and had the chance to ask a few of my own questions about the position. I was then invited to come in for an interview, which was scheduled for a few days later.
The in-person interview lasted about an hour. I actually spoke maybe 10% of the time and the hiring manager was talking for about 90% of the time, going on about their role at the company and personal background. This was a bit disconcerting to be honest...at the end of that I was asked if I had any questions for them - they did not ask me anything. Before I left, I met with one of the executives in the department and we had a nice but short conversation.
Ultimately, I heard back from the person I had the phone screening with a few days later that they would not be proceeding further with my candidacy.
