I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Airbnb (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2018
Interview
Interview process consisted of an initial resume drop, coding challenge, back-to-back technical interview, and final behavioral "cultural" interview. I cannot describe how awesome the (intern) recruiting team is at Airbnb. As a rising Junior, they gave me all the consideration I could have asked for. I most definitely cannot say this about other companies. If you are considering applying to Airbnb for any internship or full-time employment, do it. Do it because of their kindness and sincerity. Do it because of their diverse culture and nurturing recruitment team. I do not regret for a second my choice to join Airbnb this summer, and I havent even arrived in SF yet!!
“Three rounds in total. After a short recruiter screen, I had two 45-minute technical coding interviews on Zoom/CoderPad (data structures, algorithms, edge cases, complexity) followed by one 45-minute cross-team values interview focused on collaboration, ownership, communication, and product sense. No heavy system design. All interviews were virtual, interviewers were friendly and left time for questions. The process took about two weeks from scheduling to decision.
I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Airbnb (Sunnyvale, CA) in Feb 2025
Interview
It was a two-round, 45-minute technical interview. After you pass these two interviews, you will have another two, 45-minute technical interviews, one behavioral and one technical. Expect leetcode medium and hard question
I applied online. The process took 2 months. I interviewed at Airbnb in Oct 2022
