Applied online.
Some rounds:
1- Preliminary phone conversation (20 min) with HR department (Professional experience, questions about the company, expectations, and couple of technical questions about internet technologies).
2- Phone interview with Technical manager about past experience, motivations and technology questions (Internet protocols).
3- Online presentation about DNS and HTTP (1 hour) using WebEx with all the team. PowerPoint presentation + questions.
4- Online presentation with free topic. (1 hour) using WebEx with all the team. PowerPoint presentation + questions.
5- Onsite meeting face to face.
First interview with Sales Manager, questions about motivation and knowledge about company. Some tricky questions not related with the work itself (like for example: convince me for travelling to ____ city, from the first moment checking phone all the time. Interview ended up after 20 min when it was supposed to last around 1 hour.
Not much valuable information, just "selling" the company without relevant information (just comparing with competitors).
No chance to feel comfortable with such a selfless attitude.
Second interview with Pre-Sales Manager. Very nice and friendly interview.
He properly prepared the interview based on my CV. Questions about past experience, and short 10 min technical presentation test (DNS and HTTP).
Second test was similar to first interview, more related with sales but without the feeling of being psychologically analyzed in a hostile atmosphere.
He provided very good and clear information about the position (and the company in general), asking about notice period and salary expectations.
I was told to have an answer within the next 2 weeks with a feedback.
The whole process was very professional (calling me and emailing me when necessary).
It took around 2 months.
I was't notified as promised (no call or email), I called back after the deadline and HR told me that they sent me an email. email that I never received (I made sure it wasn't in spam, as I never had problems with all the email I previously received from them), in addition I never received a phone call.
Also after speaking with them and telling them that I never received an email, no one sent message again.
Apart from this they told me that they need a candidate with more experience, I'm surprised that 7 steps were necessary for this conclusion.
Attitude was only professional while I was a potential candidate.
