I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Akenza in July 2024
Interview
The interview itself was fairly neutral, although I was expecting to speak with a recruiter or someone from HR for the first screening interview, rather than a tech lead. The real disappointment came afterward, when I was rejected for a supposed lack of knowledge of a specific technology, despite not being asked any technical questions on the topic during the interview. It would have been more helpful to have had the opportunity to demonstrate my skills more thoroughly.

Question 1
Why do you want to work again in a startup environment?
I applied through a staffing agency. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at Akenza (Zürich) in Feb 2024
Interview
It was through Lionstep as I understood Akenza is a very small company so they had external screening. It was a first initial contact to check if its a potential match so the candidate can continue to the next stages with members of the company

Question 1
Q: Tell me about your previous working experience only the specific type that they wanted, cloud operations and if you have experience with IoT
I applied online. The process took 5 weeks. I interviewed at Akenza in Apr 2020
Interview
Another fancy startup who lacks respect for the candidates. I did two interviews, the first one with the one responsible for the Marketing department and the other with someone from product. It was an unusual two hour interview on which they asked me a lot of strategical questions and how I would proceed to position their brand in different markets. We had a nice chat, they gave me a quite positive feedback in the end of the interview but then they disappear. I'm waiting until now an answer, even if I have already tried to ask for a feedback sending three emails to Human Resources. All in all, a very disrespectul approach.
