it was handled offline (on-site) from 8.15 AM (started late), starting from three stages of psychotests: stage 1 consisting of reading, patterned numbers, and papikostick; stage 2 consisting of kraepelin and wartegg; and stage 3 consisting of person and tree drawing. there are two eliminations: in between stage 1 & 2 and in between stage 2 & 3. we finished stage 2 by 11.50 AM, given break until 13.00 PM, then continued with stage 3 and hr interview.
from the beginning of the interview (even from the beginning of the recruitment process), the hr was somewhat sulky. she (the interviewer) said just to take it as a “casual conversation”, yet i see no smile on any of the hr’s faces. the interview went meh. she only asked questions about what you wrote on the application form (not cv). after the interview, i was given the chance to ask questions. i asked some questions but she didnt seem to take the effort to answer my questions well. when i asked for her opinion about a thing that she wished she knew before joining the company, she refused to answer because she said it might be subjective, then she asked me to ask general questions about the job description/company. so, i asked about how day to day looks like for this role. but again, she only answered with general answer and told me to ask the user later. i asked five questions in total and all i got was general answers and rejection to answer the questions because it might be subjective or i have to ask the user later. there’s no two way communications in the interview and the hr is also not informative about anything at all.
i left at 2 PM, was very lucky because i got called to do the interview early. the whole experience felt very cold and unwelcoming. i dont think the hr team realize how important their role is to represent and be the face of the company (for new candidates).
