I applied online. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Feb 2018
Interview
Last interview group for 2018. Alaska had very junior interviewers. The lead flight attendant interviewer had only been with the airline for only 19 months. The young woman that gave me my 1 on 1 had been with them only 7 months. They had a few flight attendant reps from other bases to help answer question, but could only give general information due to contract negotiations with Virgin America. Not very impressed with Alaska Air.

I applied online. I interviewed at Alaska Airlines (Seattle, WA) in Jan 2026
Interview
Two virtual interviews that included an AI interview, a personality questionnaire and a “test” of your ability to use resources provided to answer flight-related questions. After that you’re invited to an in-person interview.
The interview process is lengthy and in depth. They really dive deep. Overall, it was a great experience and ensured that they find the right fit. I did end up accepting and am awaiting training.
