I applied through an employee referral. The process took 6 weeks. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services in Oct 2024
Interview
Recruiter phone interview:
• Focus: Your background, why AWS, and your high-level understanding of cloud computing.
• Tip: Be ready to explain your current role clearly and show enthusiasm for the "Solutions Architect" path.
2. Technical Phone Screen (45-60 mins)
Usually conducted by a peer (another SA). This is the "gatekeeper" round before loop.
3. The "Loop" (Virtual)
This is the final stage, consisting of 4 to 5 separate interviews, each lasting about 60 minutes.

Tough 5 stage loop, but the key is if you find you are enjoying the 5 back to back 45min interviews, you’ll probably fit in. All about Earn Trust and Customer Obsession
5 panel round interview, breadth across cloud computing concepts. if for a domain then can be very specific. these roles vary very much so it really depends on the team on the kind of work you do, but you have the same interview process regardless usually, except for the hiring manager expectations per role
