I applied through a recruiter. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at Amazon Web Services (Denver, CO) in June 2022
Interview
Felt extremely impersonal, tedious, and repetitive. If it wasn't the name brand and money of "Amazon," I'd have ended the discussion after the first call which was asking the same questions I'd already provided in a questionnaire. The calls felt like they wanted you to be robotic in your responses and not show any personality. When allowed to ask the interviewer questions, he seemed bothered and his mood changed greatly when I asked about how AWS is addressing the work life balance concerns raised by many on Glassdoor. He gave a very brief, "You'll work the hours required to do the job." Tried to ask a follow-up question but he mentioned a need to drop.

Question 1
The technical interview was just rapid fire questions. Mine was aimed toward AWS features, functions, troubleshooting, but I imagine it depends on which product you're interviewing for.

Interview
Was a basic first round call where the interviewer asked me about my background. Then spoke more about my project experience and asked for technical examples. It was fine, nothing crazy hard. Just make sure to know your resume well.
