Around five 1:1 interviews with various people from different organizations in AWS. The last one is with the hiring manager. All interviews are centered around Leadership Principles questions, where the interviewer asks one of pre-defined questions. Some of them have no idea of the role or what it requires. The purpose of the interview is whether you will fit in the Amazon leadership principles and demonstrate them. They are not interested in your background or your view of the role, what you can provide as value, etc,. Overall, quite demotivating process where one is expected to answer questions from a guidebook, asked by random people from Amazon. Did not get the job since I did not provide enough 'data' in my answers. Recommendation : for all your answers, have some numbers ready. They dont need to be real, since the interviewers do not have the capacity or interest in evaluating the numbers, they just wanted some numbers in the answers.
