I applied online. The process took 10 months. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX)
Interview
Timeline sake, I included the dates of each step of the hiring process.
(May/June 2014) Initial application: You have to be quick with this because the application could be open one hour and closed the next! Take advantage of the opportunity if you see it.
(October 11th, 2014) Video, One-Way interview: Kind of like Skype or FaceTime, without anyone on the other end. You are presented with a question, you have about 30 second or 1 minute to prepare yourself, then the camera starting rolling and you record yourself answering the question. I believe you have about 3 minutes to answer your question but you don't have to use that full amount of time. You can hit 'next' button to proceed to the next question. There are 5 questions total. **** Tip, on the last question, if you have extra time, be sure to thank them for the interview and for their time, just as you would in a typical face-to-face interview! ****
(March 4th, 2015) Face-to-Face interview: So. Much. Fun. I had an absolute blast at my interview! Start the day off by shaking out your nerves, it's not as bad and scary as it sounds. Don't be nervous. You do a couple group activities and then go into a group interview.
