I interviewed at American Airlines (Los Angeles, CA)
Interview
The process begins with an online personality assessment evaluated by a third party. The online assessment truthfully and with all the years of experience as a flight attendant and did not pass the online assessment for the second time.
Initially the online assessment was glitchy and you had to be very careful what internet browser you used or it would freeze and you would have to start over which unfortunately disqualifies you at the end saying that you failed the exam.
Later after following up with Talent Services regarding the online assessment glitch and problem I discovered that AA's HR recruiters are all third party outsourced to a call center in Manila, Philippines.
I had no one to follow up with in sending my resume to a real flight attendant recruiter that was in the USA outside of the third party HR agency in the Philippines that would understand and screen my resume with human eyes.
The application process should be managed in the United States and near the headquarters not outsourced to Manila. That way if there were technical issues they could be resolved locally and great candidates with FA experience like myself wouldn't be unwarrantedly screen out from moving forward.
I applied online. I interviewed at American Airlines in July 2016
