I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at American Airlines (Dallas, TX)
Interview
Regarding the F2F...
You arrive and enter a room with the other candidates. You spend some time getting to know one another and then they will start the interview. First, you wil do an ice-breaker with your group and then present your findings to the entire room. They then did a presentation on AA. Then was the group interview. We each had to answer a total of three questions during this stage. After that, we returned to the main room and just chatted informally amongst ourselves and with one or two of the interviewers. During this time, the others are elsewhere deciding they want to move on. They will return and call out names. If they call you you wil be walked to another room to fill out some paperwork, get you fingerprints taken, perform reach test, and finally do your 1-on-1. No one received CJO's that day but they made it seem like if you made it to fingerprinting then you more or less will be offered a CJO as long as you pass your background and medical. We were told we'd hear back within two weeks regarding that info as well as about training, etc.
