I applied through other source. I interviewed at American Income Life (San Bernardino, CA) in Jan 2018
Interview
San Bernardino Agency: This was NOT an interview but recruiting setup for potential agents, beyond acceptable. They called me and texted me about my job interview for Administrative Assistant and you never mentioned the word "insurance". The text confirmation read "INTERVIEW CONFIRMATION". Instead of an interview it was a pure sales pitch presentation to recruit new insurance agents. Today they wasted over an hour of my time during the presentation, over an hour of time to drive back and forth to San Bernardino and they wasted my gas. If they had been honest with me on the phone or in the text message, I would not have attended as I could use my VALUABLE time more wisely since, cause I am not interested in a 1099 self employed insurance agent gig. Most likely over half of the 15 or so attendees with me in the room would have bailed if they were told honestly from the beginning what this was all about. Although agent today clearly stated "I will not lie to you people", but she sure did in this whole scam setup to try to find new recruits.
I applied online. I interviewed at American Income Life (Remote) in Dec 2022
Interview
Quickest reply and interview I’ve ever had. Within 48 hours I already had an offer from them which was very surprising. Everything was done through practically text which was odd at first and then got everything emailed and verified very quickly. I did feel like the process would of been a lot smoother if they’d mention everything I need to get done get just for the onboarding rather than mentioning things one by one after going back and forth with management. Just having to get things scanned and sent over to them was a pain considering it would of taken a max of 15 minutes getting paperwork fill out and getting document together to send over rather the 3 hours I spent being told one item at a time. That’s as far as we’ve gotten so far but hopefully all goes well.

I applied through other source. I interviewed at American Income Life (Burnaby, BC) in June 2018
Interview
There was not any process. They only present their company and products during 1 hour.
They pay no attention to your background. It seems they want to sell their products and you have to receive some licenses that they cost around 700!!
