I applied through other source. The process took 3 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Ottawa, ON) in May 2018
Interview
The first stage is a phone interview, asking to talk about yourself. Then you'll be invited for a one-on-one interview for the next day.
Day 2: Get there, fill a form, with your basic information, two references(not relatives) that have known you for at least a year; how much you would like to earn in a year, five years, and ten years; If given the opportunity, who would you like to be, and why?; wait for a few minutes, wait for a few minutes, to be invited in by a "mentor" for the interview.
You'll be called on the phone hours after the interview (mine was scheduled between 1pm-3pm), to congratulate you on passing the interview and to invite you for the final stage which will include a few "mentors"(next day, or you can reschedule).
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
In no particular order (Dress formal):
1. Are you interested in building a career in insurance for unions
2. Introduce yourself
3. What makes you different from other Insurance sales applicants?
4. I hope you did some research about the company. What did you learn?
5. Are you time conscious? Rate yourself on a scale of 1-10
6. Do you have an insurance certificate? Are you willing to get it?(to be subsidized, but still at a cost to be paid ahead.)
7. What is your objective?
8. Do you have any questions?
The interview went well, I'm just looking for insight on what I'll be walking into starting this job. I had to add a review to be able to see others reviews, I will update as soon as I start.

I applied online. I interviewed at American Income Life (Bluffdale, UT)

Virtual group interview with about 11 people. They gave a breakdown of what would be required (An insurance license) and what we could expect. There is no base salary and each sale is estimated to average $500

I applied online. The process took 1 week. I interviewed at American Income Life (San Francisco, CA) in Nov 2023
Interview
Process was disjointed and inconclusive. Zoom - 3 total. 1st- basic meet-greet. 2nd- a company promo video you watch alone mostly about an annual convention in a tropical location: nothing specific about the job. 3rd- "Host is in another meeting," waited 20 mins and left, so it never happened.

Question 1
There wasn't a real interview. Never got to find out about the agency or the actual position. If it's that disorganized and disrespectful from the get-go, I want nothing to do with it.
