Applied to an AD on Indeed through their recruiter KO recruiting. Ad stated this was a salary job starting at $45-50k. Received an email within 20 mins of applying to set up an interview at their office was never told the name of the company. Drove an hour for the interview. Was treated to a 15 person seminar as one of their top managers explained informantion that is useless to someone who doesn't get the job. This process took an hour 1/2.
Received a call the next day to set up for a final interview. When I showed the hiring the manager the ad I applied to, she told me that the position doesn't offer a salary and that shouldn't be posted. Was told all about their commsion only structure. Being I had previous Life Insurance experence, I knew pretty much what the entire position was all about. If AIL would have simply stated in their Indeed posting this job is not a Coms Asst. job and is in face Life Insurance sales, I would've never applied. I wasted 4 hours and $20 worth of gas to learn something I could've know in 30 seconds.
