I applied online. I interviewed at American Income Life (Calgary, AB) in Oct 2019
Interview
The interview was just a formality as this is a commission based job.
The whole process will take you about 3 hours after which if you are interested, you'll be asked to go and complete an insurance dealer exam.
Please not that the cost of the stated exam will be borne by you
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
What are your passion and goals
Where do you see yourself in the next month, year, five years and a decade
discuss your previous sales experience and how you were able to meet and even surpassed your target
They called me after applying for the "CUSTOMER SERVICE SPECIALIST AND MANAGEMENT POSITIONS"posting and asked me to come in for an interview. The "interview" was a a group information session with 10 other people. Everyone starts as entry level. It's deceptive they advertise the position as management. It's a sales job and that was not advertised. Even if you have management experience you will still need to start from the bottom.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
They give you multiple choice questions. I said I would decline an offer if it was given to me. A sales job should be advertised as that. I wouldn't want to work for a company that is misleading even if I was in sales.

I applied in-person. I interviewed at American Income Life (Denver, CO) in Oct 2020
Interview
What they were looking and interviewing for was nothing like what was posted in the job description. Felt mislead and scummy. Will not apply at this company again, please change your hiring protocols.
