I applied through other source. The process took 2 days. I interviewed at American Income Life (Erie, PA) in Apr 2015
Interview
I was taken into an office and spoke very briefly with one person who's role I couldn't really suss out about where I was geographically located and what my latest job experience was. This lasted all of five minutes. Then I was taken to this classroom setting to be presented to with one other candidate on the history of the company, the model of the product they offered, and the potential earnings for a benefits rep. Admittedly, the $$$ had me drooling and questioning when I could sign the dotted line. We then filled out packets and surveys about our personality traits and how we perceived ourselves as workers. I was brutally honest with mine; I never considered myself a salesperson, and I don't have the personality to hunt down every single client and hound them for results.
They reviewed the info, and asked us to come in THE NEXT DAY for part three of the interview process. I came in at my appointed time after calling off of my current job (much to my annoyance). I was then offered the job by the regional manager after a very brief foray into the many questions I had, many of which didn't have a clear-cut answer. It all felt very rushed. He sat behind the desk and waited for my answer, and didn't address the concern or fear I KNEW I was wearing openly on my face, even when I expressed my hesitancy. It didn't sit right with me.

There was a filter interview at first, then there was a real group interview, and then after that there was a final interview at which they decide if you make the fit and then decide wether or not to hire you.

I’ve only started with the beginning stages of the interview process, but so far I am extremely enthused. They are very informative, as well as provide lots of opportunity for growth in the company.
