They had my potential subordinates interview me, and those kids had the worst interview skills. HR was very professional, but once you step through the proverbial door, it's apparent what the culture is in-office; based on the interviewers' immature behavior, I am not at all surprised to see low scores for this firm here. (I should've checked reviews here before agreeing to apply to this after HR asked me to on LinkedIn.)
I removed my application from consideration; would never consider this place after the interview experience.
If the subordinates knew enough of what is needed for their director, then why even hire a director? A more senior person should be interviewing directors. Their highly flawed interview process suggests a highly flawed company. I just could not believe how unprofessional and condescending their staff was out the gate, especially considering the very professional nature of their HR and receuitment staff. I left the interview just shocked at how I was treated. I've never had a more unprofessional interview experience. I couldn't help shaking my head and I hope this company addresses their culture issues. I've never, ever been treated so abrasively during the interview process.
