Interview
Interviewed with district manager less than a week after submitting my resume. The interview went very well. I was only asked a few questions including why I was looking for a change from my current employer. The base pay was $400/wk for 44 hours a week (less than $10/hr) with a degree and several certifications. The job mainly was making phone calls, social media, and any other means to get people appointments to come in and buy personal training. There was a complicated commission system that was partially based on how many members left the club. So if I signed up 10 people and 11 people left, I was in the negative regardless of the packages of training that was sold. Trainers are also expected to make phone calls between clients. The jobs hours were 8-12 and 3-8, but I've heard they are much more. The job also involved doing 6 week reassessments of current clients to keep the trainers and clients on track with programs, and the club has 300 active members.
