1. Thirty minutes of HR phone screening; 2. Three rounds of tech interviews: One hour for the first two, and then two one hour back-to-back tech interviews for the last round; 3. Fifteen minutes phone call with HR who collected interview feedbacks and updates; 4. Fifteen minutes call with the Senior Director who brought the good news and next steps :) Considering that I am interviewing while at work, everything went blazingly fast, the whole process took exactly one month, HR would typically reach out the next day after each interview to gather feedbacks and schedule the next interview. Tech interview typically consists of 15-30 minutes of resume digging and 30-45 minutes of problem solving. The engineers who interviewed me were super nice and friendly, and they would readily share with me what it's like to work in Appfolio. Overall it was a great experience and I'm happy that I got the offer.
