Interview
Multiple rounds. Assignments. Waiting on the recruitment team to get back despite follow up emails. Very exhausting. Very difficult interview process. The assignment was easy, a two part assignment but it didn’t capture the skills you need to show to be in proposals ( it was so easy that that I was shocked- I expected something like an essay or multiple paragraph responses) but the third interview took two hours, and the second interviewer for the third interview asked too many “what if” questions. I think that they need to refine the proposal interview process by providing a more difficult assignment and having actual proposal management staff interview for proposal roles. Overall, I wouldn’t even bother applying to this company ever again, as the entire process was very difficult and time consuming. It wasted so much of my time.

Question 1
Way too many what ifs were asked by a non-proposal staff person. The proposal staff interviewed better.
Got invited for a telephone interview (first stage), and was asked to provided my availability. I did so less than 24 hours after receiving the link to the diary planner to provide my available times and dates. However, I never heard back from the HR person. I followed up with her a few weeks later and was told that the position was filled.
Very disappointing and the HR person didn't even admit any responsibility or provide an explanation as to why I was not contacted, updated, or why I was invited for interview and then ditched. Very unprofessional and I can only assume that the HR person or person hiring had 2nd thoughts and decided interview and offer the job to a mate.
Not sure they are an Equal Opportunities employer to be honest.
