Interview
1. phone screen with recruiter - general behavioral questions and why Appian, what you are looking for out of an internship, etc
2. First round phone interview with engineer - why QE, why appian, teamwork situations, one math/technical question about the angle between the hands of an analog clock
3. Final round - in Reston, Va - 3 interview - 2 with engineers, 1 with head of talent

Question 1
Final round: interviews with engineers were behavioral and technical. Asked about how you would test a certain process (they give you a handout depicting the layout), asked to explain something complex to someone who has never been introduced to certain subject, why appian, why major, why QE, questions about components of resume
The 1st round was an online proctored test. It contained Essay, coding questions and MCQ. The essay was about any application and describing its testing features. MCQ mostly had aptitude and qualtiy regarding questions.

The interview was very simple.The interview gone for around 30 mins. They just asked what is quality and a logical question.Then about time management and also about conflict management. And what you know about appion.Overall the interview wasn't that much tough interview
I applied through an employee referral. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Appian (Tysons Corner, VA)
Interview
- Had a phone screening with a recruiter which took about 30 minutes.
- Had an in person interview with 3 QEs and a VP of engineering. It was mostly behavioral.
