I applied through an employee referral. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Applause (UT) (Toronto, ON) in Mar 2026
Interview
Honestly one of the best interview experiences I’ve had. Everything felt smooth, respectful, and well organized from start to finish. Erin, the VP of HR, made a big difference. She was supportive the whole way through, kept me in the loop, and made the process feel a lot more personal than most companies do.
The conversations themselves didn’t feel like typical interviews. They felt real. My chat with Taylor (CEO), stood out the most. You can tell he genuinely believes in what they’re building and cares about making a real impact in people’s lives, not just growing a company.
Chris (VP of Sales), brought a ton of energy. You can tell he’s a strong leader with a clear vision, but what I liked most is how much he values people’s individual strengths and stays open to new ideas.
Landon (Director of Enablement), really reinforced the culture. He’s clearly invested in helping people succeed and shows up for his team in a real way.
Overall, the whole process felt human. Not transactional, not robotic. Just good conversations with people who care about what they’re building and who they bring on.

4 Interviews:
- Recruiter Screen
- Panel with Director of CS and Implementation Specialist
- Another Implementation Specialist
- Director of CS
I applied on LinkedIn. At first, the experience was awesome; the recruiter kept me in the loop of everything and everyone I spoke with was great. About 24 hours before my final interview, the recruiter emailed me saying they are cancelling my interview in a completely unprofessional way. I guess it's true when they say you really are a number.
I applied through other source. The process took 1 day. I interviewed at Applause (UT) (Cebu City) in Sept 2025
Interview
My interview experience with Applause was great. The interviewer was warm and had a positive vibe, which made the conversation very comfortable. I genuinely felt that everything went well. However, two days later, I received a rejection email. I reached out to ask for feedback on what I could improve, but unfortunately, I didn’t receive any response.
I believe it would be beneficial for recruiters to provide feedback when applicants request it, as this is a valuable opportunity for candidates to learn and improve.
