I applied online. I interviewed at Arrow Electronics
Interview
After I applied online, I got an email from an HR recruiter about 5 weeks later requesting to set up a time to speak. Spoke with her a few days later, then she set up a time to meet the hiring manager a few days after that. I met with two people (separately ) from the department. They were very nice. There were a lot of questions where they gave me a work-related scenario and asked me if I had experience in that type of scenario/doing that type of work. There were no "Give me an example of a time when..." behavioral type questions (thank God). It was a pleasant experience overall. They still haven't made a decision about the position though, and it has been a month since the interview. I've corresponded with the hiring manager via email though, and he always replies. I do get the impression that the company is very corporate though and takes time to get anything approved.
It's good to hear your interview went well, and that the hiring manager has been communicative with you. If this position doesn't work out, I hope you'll consider us for another marketing position in the future.
Other Marketing interview reviews for Arrow Electronics
I had a very disappointing experience interviewing with Arrow. The initial screening with the recruiter involved questions about my years of experience with certain skills, which I had already provided in my application. However, I didn't mind repeating them. The issue arose when I spoke with the Hiring Manager. The recruiter scheduled a Microsoft Teams interview for us, but the HM was about 5 minutes late. She also did not turn on her camera and it was evident that she wasn't interested in getting to know me. She asked me two standard questions: Tell me about yourself and why you're interested in Arrow. After that, I had to lead the rest of the discussion. When they informed me that they weren't considering me any further, I asked the recruiter for feedback. She replied that she received no specific feedback and would let me know if she heard anything. Overall a very poor experience.

Really smooth interview process, I felt as if the managers wanted to talk and get to know me. Managers allowed me to ask questions at the end as well, there wasn't any case studies to do either.
