I applied online. I interviewed at Assuralia (Brussels)
Interview
After completing the screening interview, I was asked to work on a Word document containing code snippets that needed correction or an explanation of why they weren't working. Additionally, there were three questions that required written answers, and I was given a one-hour time frame to complete the tasks.
In all honesty, I found this test to be rather ineffective and puzzling. It was challenging to discern what the company was trying to evaluate by having candidates write code within a Word document. This format seemed disconnected from the real-world coding environment, making it difficult to showcase my coding skills effectively.
I would recommend that the company consider alternative assessment methods that better align with the practical aspects of the job and allow candidates to demonstrate their abilities more accurately.
