I applied through university. The process took 3 months. I interviewed at Astronic
Interview
I interviewed over 10 years ago. Process was slow counting from when I first applied. I had forgotten I even applied as it took a few months before I got contacted for an interview. It appears perhaps it wasn't an immediate need. Once contacted, interview was setup in a timely manner. I also recall hearing back within 2 weeks. My interview was with only 1 person.
Interview questions [1]
Question 1
I interviewed quite some time ago, but I don't recall any tough questions. Basic questions like what you're looking for and to tell them about yourself.
I applied through other source. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Astronic (Aliso Viejo, CA)
Interview
This one was weird. We were invited to a sort of open house event, a bunch of college students and graduates arrived, we were given a tour and a presentation, and practically everyone was offered a job. Sound weird? Yeah, but it was for real and only two of us made it to the finish line. What a gauntlet.
I applied through a recruiter. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Astronic (Aliso Viejo, CA) in July 2012
Interview
There was literally no interview. They were looking for recent college graduates - about 14 of us attended the orientation - about 7 of us (most of the graduates in attendance) got hired - and only two of us remained after 6 months. Their interview consists of a "probationary period" which is basically 6 months of paid training. Most of us quit, one got fired, and two remain. Like a game show. I think the two of us will stick around a while. There are new rounds of the game show starting every few months until they fill needed positions with dedicated, tough-as-nails employees who promise to only cry a couple times a year.

Question 1
"How many of you can start tomorrow?" (they actually waited two weeks to invite us back after that question)
