I applied online. The process took 5 days. I interviewed at Asurion (Dallas, TX) in Sept 2020
Interview
Terrible and discriminatory. I submitted my resume three times and did a pre-assessment. I then got invited to proceed in the interview process. The hiring manager did not ask any questions or make any inquiries to my resume, he immediately refused to interview me stating I was not qualified. I reviewed the job posting to make sure I had not missed something. Sure enough the posting states "preferred call center experience" and "working knowledge (or ability to learn) operating systems". I have basic knowledge and definitely have the ability to further learn something as necessary. When I questioned it, he very shortly stated he would not interview me today. Was very dismissive and unprofessional.
Ended up being bounced between multiple zoom rooms with confused applicants for 5 or so minutes before actually settling with the interviewer who was not clearly identified as being from Asurion.

Interview
It was pretty smooth just spoke with someone about role and told them about myself and my experience. Just be yourself no need to worry. It was virtual interview onsite.

Question 1
Tell me about a sales experience where you had to turn around an irate customer
Easy, straightforward. The interviewer asked a few questions then checked my internet speed. Took about 3 weeks for the entire process due to background check. Must submit a background check and take a drug panel test before you are hired.
