Invited to complete an online situational judgement test. After that, a phone interview with questions like "Why Atkins?", "Why Nuclear and Power specifically?". Useful to have your application answers open in bullet point form to refer to.
Then, a virtual interview was conducted with two members of staff including technical questions and "soft skills" questions. For example, in one of the technical questions, I was presented with a system and was asked to identify failure points, how I could improve the safety, and how I could increase the efficiency/optimise the system. Useful to brush up on your engineering principles such as thin-walled cylinders etc. Nothing massively complicated, just applying principles and they will give you a hint if you are struggling.
After that, a virtual assessment centre with an overview of the company, some question time with current grads, then an individual and group task. For the individual task, we were presented with e-mails and data that had been collated about an issue that needs to be resolved. You have 50 minutes to read through this data and write a report based on it, with recommendations on how to fix the problem, how the issue will impact stakeholders, and how the proposed solutions will benefit stakeholders. For the group exercise, we were given general data and each candidate was assigned a unique city and the relevant data. You had time to look over the data and pick out the bits you think are useful/form conclusions. You must then, as a group, discuss which of the cities fits the brief best then discuss how you would go about achieving the desired outcome.
