An HR personnel calls on the phone for a brief conversation about the company and the applicant.
HR sets up a video meeting with the CEO. This meeting is a little bit more comprehensive than the HR conversation. It is a deep conversation about the company, the way of working, the work culture and the expectations.
If successful, there is couple of meetings with an existing employee who occupies the same role and the CTO.
If at any step the interview failed, the applicant receives a sad smiley face e-mail from the HR with no relative information. Even if HR is asked about the reasoning of the result, there is no communication further. This puts a black spot otherwise seemingly good company.
