      Easy interview

      Application

I applied online. The process took 1+ week. I interviewed at Atria Senior Living (Ardsley, NY) in June 2016

      Interview

Emailed resume and received a phone call within 1 week. We set up appointment for a phone interview, where I was invited to take the online profile. After completing the online profile, I received another call from the recruiter the next day asking me to meet with the facility director for an in person interview. The in person interview went well enough, but it seemed clear that the directors main goal and objective was about the money. If it wasn't leasing apartments, it was to make sure she had directors that worked well together. It seemed that she wanted directors who worked well together not so much to ensure smooth working conditions, but the emphasis was more on the resulting higher profit sharing margin. She also asked me if the recruiter mentioned that this wasn't a 9 - 5 job. I was told that I would need to work a weekend as a 'manager on duty' on a rotating schedule with the other directors, but this was the first I was hearing about the hours not being normal working hours. I don't need 9 - 5, exactly, but when I asked the director if the position was more 24/7, she tried to avoid the answer. The person for this position would need to be available outside of work hours. Being that I am in the North East, the person for this position would also be expected to stay on premise during winter storms. All in all the interview process was easy enough, and I was asked to move on to the the next step, but I declined to go further with this position. Between not having a clear idea about what the working hours would be, and the emphasis on $$$, this wasn't a position I was comfortable pursuing.

      Application

I applied online. The process took 2 weeks. I interviewed at Atria Senior Living (Palm Desert, CA) in Mar 2020

      Interview

Interview has several steps including exam. Company had a lot of technical difficulties, so they had to reschedule interviews or start it later. Company demands your references to fill up a survey before your panel (very unusual, especially since they need 2 of your supervisors to do so). Work schedule is Sunday -Thuesday and position required to cover an absent office stuff.

      Interview questions [1]

      Question 1

Exam includes math, HR and property management questions. Panel interview questions are ridiculous and unnecessary.
