I applied online. The process took 4 weeks. I interviewed at Audible (Newark, NJ) in Feb 2013
Interview
Went through 2 phone calls interview. I asked them to scheduled an onsite interview within one week cause, I had an offer. They did all they could :) right - nothing. So I had to ask the other company to wait a little more on my decision.
They have a free lunch, parody on what Google has but you know ... food. It appears that Indian is not the worst food choise in US:)
Interview was started with two interviewers. They asked some simple coding questions. They want to know if you are able to code simple tasks on a white board. Nothing difficult. One of them was sleepy so I couldn't understand why did he even come. I even asked him, after a question of when they usually start working. I know it's silly but I couldn't resist and that was very annoying. But the most fun one was manager, he asked questions out of paper so when I asked him to repeat he just read it again, smiling. I didn't know what that could possibly mean.
I know how it sounds, I read comment here before going there:).
Give it a shot. Good luck ;)
BTW No one of them did not even read my CV before I came, even manager :).

Interview
The interview process was really smooth. The interviewers were professional, kind, and prepared to pair program. Apart from the behavioral interview, which was all star format stories, each interviewer asked one question related to an Audible value. After giving my answer, we'd hop into the technical part.
